Alternative Meditation Technique #1
Traditional style meditation would have you sit crossed legged for 10-15 minutes breathing in and out slowlly from the nose. Focusiing on the breath, quiet, slow inhales and exhales until you don't notice the breath anymore.
If you have problems silensing the mind try this alternative meditation technique, its really more of a visualization.
Imagine your mind like box, you know how a card board box is made, with 8 flaps. Now imagine your mind ( contained in this box) exploding, and all of the thoughts evaporating out of the box until there is nothing.
That's a little trick I start myself off with when meditating isn't coming easily. Try it for yourself.

All you have to do its listen.
I tired it and loved it! Everynight before going to bed I'd pop on me head phones and drift off to these beautiful sounds and eventually fall asleep.
Voila ...an easy alternative to meditation!
Alternative Mediation #3
Silent contemplation is also considered a great alternative meditation. I like to use some visualization techniques as well for manifesting.
Get into a comfortable position either seated cross legged or lying down.
Calm the mind, enter meditation and then start visualizing a certain event you would like to experience, be it driving a new car, or traveling to a new destination, meeting someone special...anything.
The trick is to visualize and imagine this scene so well that you feel excited, you feel what it feels like to actually be living this experience.
When you allow yourself to day dream like this and really get into it, it's very powerful. 10 -15 minutes will do. This is the power of manifesting you are tapping into now. And you can use this simple alternative meditation to create whatever you want.
I'm in Hawaii right now...been living here for 4 months,my sister is on her way as we speak, on the plane arriving in less than ...8 hours. We are taking off traveling just the two of us for 6 weeks around the neighboring islands here in Hawaii. I am so excited! You cannot even begin to imagine. And I did it all with this simple technique. Try it!
